For this piece of furniture I have taken soft fresh perishable sardines and through the process of lost wax casting, have transformed them into tough durable aluminium.
Taking as a starting point an early morning trip to the fish market, a series of plaster moulds are produced of many sardines and from these moulds can be produced many more wax copy fish.
